Denecia Herbert, known as “Lady D, The Hope Specialist,” is an author, publisher, teacher, mentor, and ministry leader called to bind up the brokenhearted, encourage the oppressed, and help people rebuild after grief, trauma, rejection, loss, and life-altering transitions.
I understand what it feels like to encourage others while quietly trying to find the strength to encourage yourself. I know what it means to experience grief, rejection, uncertainty, delay, and seasons when your purpose feels buried beneath your pain.
But I have also witnessed God restore, rebuild, and repurpose the broken places of my life.
I did not become The Hope Specialist because my journey was easy. This assignment was born through the places where I needed God to become my hope. Every painful season taught me something about His faithfulness, healing, grace, and ability to give us beauty for ashes.
My mission is to help you recognize that what happened to you does not have the authority to cancel what God placed within you. You can heal. You can rebuild. You can discover yourself again. You can escape, evolve, and excel.
There is still life after loss. There is still purpose after pain. Most importantly, there is still hope.
